The Marías - No One Noticed
[Verse 1]
Maybe I
Lost my mind
No one noticed
No one noticed
[Chorus]
It's getting old (I'd kinda like it if you'd call me)
All alone ('Cause I'm so over bein' lonely)
May have lost it (I need a virtual connection)
I have lost it (Be my video obsession)
[Verse 2]
No one tried
To read my eyes
No one but you
Wish it weren't true
[Chorus]
Maybe I (I'd kinda like it if you'd call me)
It's not right ('Cause I'm so over bein' lonely)
Make you mine (I need a virtual connection)
Take our time (Be my video obsеssion)
[Refrain]
Come on, don't leave mе, it can't be that easy, babe
If you believe me, I guess I'll get on a plane
Fly to your city excited to see your face
Hold me, console me, and then I'll leave without a trace
Come on, don't leave me, it can't be that easy, babe
If you believe me, I guess I'll get on a plane
Fly to your city excited to see your face
Hold me, console me, then I'll leave without a trace
Come on, don't leave me, it can't be that easy, babe
If you believe me, I guess I'll get on a plane
Fly to your city excited to see your face
Hold me, console me, and then I'll leave without a trace (Maybe I)
Come on, don't leave me, it can't be that easy, babe (It's not right)
If you believe me, I guess I'll get on a plane (Make you mine)
Fly to your city excited to see your face (Take our time)
Hold me, console me and then I'll leave without a trace

"No One Noticed" is a song by American indie pop band the Marías, released on May 3, 2024, as the third single (alongside the song "If Only") from their second studio album Submarine. "No One Noticed" has been described as a "dissociated yacht pop" song. It depicts the mental discomfort and worries from being in a relationship with a distant partner. María Zardoya pleads her lover to stay while attempting to give reasons for a deep connection despite the remote nature of the romance. Echoing background vocals which describe her thoughts are layered throughout the song. In the following months of its release, the song slowly achieved popularity through the video-sharing platform TikTok, where it has been soundtracked in videos about sadness. Singer Billie Eilish posted herself singing along to the song in an Instagram story on July 17, 2024, which has helped the song gain wider recognition.
