Marilyn Manson - Third Day of a Seven Day Binge
We've only reached the third day of a seven day binge
I can already see your name disintegrated from my lips
We've only reached the third day of a seven day binge
I can already see your name disintegrated from my lips
I can't decide if you're wearing me out or wearing me well
I just still feel like I'm condemned to wear someone else's hell
We've only reached the third day of a seven day binge
I can always see your name and disintegrated from my lips
I got bullets in the booth
Rather be your victim, than be with you
I got bullets in the booth
Rather be your victim, than be with you
We've only reached the third day of a seven day binge
I can already see your name disintegrated from my lips!
Rather be your victim, than be with you!
Rather be your victim, than be with you!
“Third Day of a Seven-Day Binge” was the first single from The Pale Emperor. It is the first single released since 2012’s Born Villain. Recorded in one take, Manson described it as: "…dirty, like the dirt under my nails, like someone who has dug a grave" It was released as a double A-Side with “Deep Six,” on December 23rd, 2014. "It was strange, the first review of that song “Third Day of a Seven-Day Binge,” was ‘equally catchy and depressing.’ But strangely what I was thinking when I was recording was this will keep a lot of girls in college because if they’re strippers, you know, they’ll really like to dance to this song. And it’s not fair to make beats that confuse strippers because—it’s not nice—because they have a job to do." —Marilyn Manson
