"Good Life" is a song by American musician and producer Kanye West. Released as the third single from his third studio album, 2007's Graduation, the song was written and produced by West, with co-production from DJ Toomp. Built on a chopped vocal sample of Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)", it layers synthesizers and a keyboard bassline, and features a hook from singer T-Pain, as well as additional vocals from John Legend and Ne-Yo in the outro. The song peaked within the top 10 in the US, eventually becoming certified triple platinum by the RIAA, and recieved acclaim from music critics for it's upbeat, anthemic nature, and the song was nominated for two Grammys at the 2008 ceremony, winning one for Best Rap Song. The colorful music video also recieved acclaim for its use of rotoscope animation technology, and won Best Special Effects at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.
