Beast Monster Thing (Love Isn’t Love Enough) is the second song on Car Seat Headrest’s 2014 EP How To Leave Town Beast Monster Thing details Will’s wanting to escape himself and his own mind and be someone else for a bit, or at least a better version of himself. This song, along with this EP, was written shortly after his graduation from The College of William & Mary which shows in how he is sort of lost in the world now that all of his friends are leaving and as he starts to recognize his mistakes he longs to get away from himself and become a better person.
