DM DOKURO

From Greenfield, MA, DM DOKURO is a Breakcore/Drum & Bass musician.

His parents move a lot, so he doesn't worry that much. When he was 5, there's been some strange activity concerning others around him, so his mother took him to a doctor. It was just as they feared; he was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. "It was quite an adventure watching myself grow," said DM DOKURO, "as I saw big progress in my life starting at age 20. I still am 20 at the moment, but hey. A lot of progress!"

He's been listening to music ever since he was 3, and makes music now. "It's a funny story, because my mom told me that when I was a developing fetus, she would get her CD player, and put a headset on her belly, and I would calm down. I guess back then, music was more like my life coming to me."

He currently takes martial arts, and does daily/weekly meditation to clear the negativity from his music and personality. "It's working perfectly, actually. I'm a lot more calm than I was in my whole life. Not only that, but I'm finding more friends every day. It's a strange, but fun life I live."
