The Cranberries - I'm Still Remembering
I'm still remembering the day
I gave my life away
I'm still remembering the time
You said you'd be mine
Yesterday was cold and bare
Because you were not there
Yesterday was cold
My story has been told
I need your affection all the way
The world has changed or I've changed in a way
I try to remain
I'm trying not to go insane
I need your affection all the way
I'm still remembering my life
Before I became your wife
I'm still remembering the pain
And the mind games
Reverse psychology, never tainted me
I didn't sell my soul, I didn't sell my soul
I need your affection all the way
The world has changd or I've changed in a way
I try to remain
I'm trying not to go insane
I need your affection all the way
"I'm Still Remembering" is an acoustic folk song taken from The Cranberries third album, To the Faithful Departed. It was released as a promotion single in Brazil in 1996.[1] No video was recorded for this single and the song did not chart. The album version of "I'm Still Remembering" was featured on the Salvation single. An acoustic version was released on the 2-track European single of When You're Gone. The performance was recorded on January 31, 1995 at Cadena 40 Principales in Madrid, Spain. It is the first ever-recorded performance of this song, more than a year before it studio version release on To the Faithful Departed. An acoustic version was also played during the band's MTV Unplugged show, but did not get a commercial release.
