Kamelot - March of Mephisto
Aspirat primo fortuna labori
Me duce tutus eris
Vox populi vox dei
Ad maiorem gloriam...
Ad infinitum
You know just who I am
Don't be so distant
'Cause when you're lost
I am solely there
To share your grief
Waiting your sorrow is only my way
To comfort you
Remainders of innocent youth
Waiting for morrow
You're lonely
I name your solitude
I speak of the truth
Now tell me all about your pain
Down to the detail
Don't say it's love
You're fragile heart feeds my comtempt
Waiting your sorrow is only my way
To comfort you
Remainders of innocent youth
Waiting for morrow
You're lonely
I name your solitude
I speak of the truth
Chase the heathen call
We belong
You and I
Unison in all you deny
Waiting your sorrow is only my way
To comfort you
Remainders of innocent youth
Waiting for morrow
You're lonely
I name your solitude
I speak of the truth
I am the thorn in your side
That seeks accomplishment
Reminding the mortal of death
I am the spore of your pride
An angel heaven sent
Master of all
I am the urge of the flesh
In Ariel's moment of weakness, Mephisto's hold on the alchemist's will is at its highest point. He finds Marguerite, a beautiful girl in the Town. She looks and sounds like Helena. In an attempt to console Ariel, Mephisto delivers her to him, paving the way for her seduction. His control and power over Ariel are represented musically by harsh bass lines and death grunts. He convinces Ariel to follow through with this course of action. Thus, as Ariel seduces Marguerite's body, Mephisto seduces Ariel's mind. Feat. Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir and Jens Johansson of Stratovarius.
