Koopa from da Chi is one of Chitown's hardest working emcees and producers. He has ascended to the top of the ranks with tracks like "Grindin' Like Daaaamn", "2am in the Studio", "Girls n Kush", and many others. Koopa from da Chi started as your typical lyricist in grammar school feeding off the influences of his rodemodels such as Kanye West, Common, Nas, Big L, 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Twista, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Three Six Mafia, Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, & Big Sean. But being an emcee just wasn't enough. Koopa from da Chi further developed his love for hip hop and its other various elements. One day while perusing through the functions of a copy of Fruity Loops, Koopa from da Chi discovered that he could also create "dope-ass" beats. 10 years later, Koopa from da Chi has done nothing but evolve as an artist, playing a pivotal role in every aspect of his own music down to the creation of his lyrics, instrumental, and more recently, the editing of his own music videos.
