1) David Hughes (born David Alan Hughes on 25 April 1960) is a British film composer and keyboardist who played in different new wave bands (including Dalek I Love You, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, Godot, Freeze Frame) and later became successful making music for films.

2) David Hughes is a British folk singer-songwriter and guitarist. As well as solo recordings, he has recorded as Mick Linnard And David Hughes and is a member of St Agnes Fountain.

3) David Hughes is a Swedish bassist who has been based in Southern California since 1994.
After studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockolm, Hughes left for Los Angeles and began as a studio musician.
Credits include performances with Chaka Khan, Melissa Etheridge, Burt Bacharach, recordings with Ray Manzarek (the Doors) and the Jazz Crusaders and countless jingle sessions for TV and radio. He has also been an instructor at Musicians Institute and appeared in film and TV.
A composer since he was old enough to reach the piano keys, the release of Hughes debut CD "Swoosh" unites his greatest passions - composing and performing.
Hughes fills his schedule with tours with David Benoit, the Jazz Crusaders, Keiko Matsui, recording sessions and local performances spanning a wide stylistic range. 2007 will see the release of a new album titled Foreign Shores.
