Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass

[Chorus:]
Because you know I'm all about that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all about that bass,
'Bout that bass
Bass bass bass bass

[Verse 1:]
Yeah it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two
But I can shake it, shake it like I'm supposed to do
'Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase
All the right junk in all the right places

I see the magazines, working that Photoshop
We know that shit ain't real
Come on now, make it stop
If you got beauty beauty, just raise 'em up
'Cause every inch of you is perfect
From the bottom to the top

[Pre-Chorus:]
Yeah, my momma she told me don't worry about your size
She says, boys like a little more booty to hold at night
You know I won't be no stick figure, silicone Barbie doll,
So, if that's what's you're into
Then go ahead and move along

[Chorus:]
Because you know I'm all about that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass,
'Bout that bass
Hey
!

[Verse 2:]
I'm bringing booty back
Go ahead and tell them skinny bitches ass... hey
No, I'm just playing
I know you think you're fat,
But I'm here to tell you,
Every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top

[Pre-Chorus:]
Yeah, my momma she told me don't worry about your size
She says, boys like a little more booty to hold at night

You know I won't be no stick figure, silicone Barbie doll,
So, if that's what's you're into
Then go ahead and move along

[Chorus x3:]
Because you know I'm all about that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass,
'Bout that bass

"All About That Bass" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor for her 2014 debut EP Title and her 2015 studio album of the same name. Epic Records released it as the singer's debut single on June 30, 2014. "All About That Bass", written by Trainor and Kevin Kadish, is a bubblegum pop and doo-wop song that draws influences from various musical genres including R&B, hip hop and country. Lyrically, it discusses positive body image although this is disputed by some. Reception by music critics to "All About That Bass" was mixed. While the song received favorable reviews for its melody and vintage sound, some accused Trainor of anti-feminism for its lyrics. Even so, it was named one of the best songs of 2014 by several publications and received Grammy Award nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. The song sold 11 million copies worldwide, becoming the fourth best-selling song of 2014 and one of the best-selling singles of all times. Fatima Robinson directed the song's accompanying music video, a viral online success that was noted for its visuals and lighthearted nature. The song inspired a variety of viral videos and tributes, while Vogue recognized it as part of "the era of the big booty". Trainor has performed it on television and at various concerts, and notable artists have recorded cover versions.
