LIL PEEP - lil jeep
[Chorus]
I remember when you used to hold my hand
Now you actin' like a ghost, girl
Live forever with a smile stuck on your face
You think he know you, but I know you the most, girl
You will never find another one just like me
Long nights, gettin' high on the coast, girl
Two weeks and I still got the same old jeans on
Never got a girl when I need one
[Post-Chorus]
I see your face when I look out the window
I think about her every time that I sniff blow
If you love me, hit me up on the flip phone (Yeah, prr)
I'm dyin', I don't think that my bitch know
[Bridge]
I don't think that my bitch know
I'm dyin', I don't think that my bitch know
I'm dyin', I don't think that my bitch know
I'm dyin', yeah, yeah
On “lil jeep,” Peep shows in a chorus filled with jealousy his love for Emma Harris, as well as the pain he feels when seeing her with other boys. It is during a Masked Gorilla interview, given for the fourth anniversary of the album, that Peep’s mother confirmed the identity of the girl Gus is referring to. Produced by Cian P in late 2015, the instrumental samples “Two people” by Jacques Siroul. Marking Peep’s and Cian P’s first collaboration, “lil jeep” was created without the two artists ever having met before. It is indeed via iMessage that Cian P was introduced to Gus by Fat Nick. Lil Peep then offers the Toronto native to send him some of his finest beats – which he will do on May 26th at 1:58 AM. In the afternoon, Gus goes live on Twitter and makes his viewers listen to the song he had just written, unveiling the final version of “lil jeep.”
