“Tell Me U Luv Me“ marks another collaboration between rappers Juice WRLD and Trippie Redd. Diving into their usual topics of drugs and girls, the two go into detail about their desires from their respective significant others. This song was first performed live by Juice at a concert in late 2019. On January 29, 2020, nearly two months after his passing, the track featured a full-length leak on Soundcloud before being removed on copyright grounds. Later the following month, the track surfaced once again on YouTube, before both Trippie and Juice’s label both took to their Instagrams to officially tease the track a few hours prior to its release. Additionally, the track was released on Ally Lotti’s birthday, likely indicating that Juice originally made the track for her. Lotti and The Kid LAROI – Juice’s mentee – teased lines from the track less than an hour from the release with a tweet. The track marks the seventh time Juice’s vocals have been featured on a track after his death, following his 2020 feature on Polo G’s “Flex.“
