“Something to Rap About” features Freddie Gibbs and guest Tyler, The Creator rapping in extremely different lights; Freddie touches on dark topics like his involvement in the drug game and crime, while Tyler raps about his newfound superstardom and wealth, also detailing the path he took to his position in the industry. While this is the duo’s first official collaboration, Freddie and Tyler do have a history together. Freddie appeared in Tyler’s 2014 Loiter Squad parody sketch Storage War$ as a guest amongst the usual Odd Future crew.
