Five Finger Death Punch - The Bleeding

(Guitar Solo)

Verse 1:
I remember when all the games began,
Remember every little lie,
And every last goodbye.
Promises you broke, Words you choked on,
And I never walked away. It's still a mystery to me.

Well I'm so empty.
I'm better off without you,
You're better off without me.
Well you're so unclean!
I'm better off without you,
You're better off without me.

Chorus:
The lying!
The bleeding!
The screaming!
Was tearing me apart!
The hatred!
Deceiving!
The bleeding!
It's over!

Verse 2:
Paint the mirrors black to forget you,
I still picture your face and the way you used to taste,
Roses in a glass dead and wilted,
To you this all was nothing,
Everything to you is nothing.

Well you're so filthy,
I'm better off without you,
You're better off without me.
Well I'm so ugly!
You're better off without me,
I'm better off alone!

Chorus:
The lying!
The bleeding!
The screaming!
Was tearing me apart!
The hatred!
The beatings!
Disaster!
It's over!

Verse 3:
As wicked as you are... You're beautiful to me.
You're the darkest burning star, your my perfect disease!

Chorus x2:
The lying!
The bleeding!
The screaming!
Was tearing me apart!
The hatred!
The beatings!
It's over!
Disaster!

The lying!
The bleeding!
The screaming!
Was tearing me apart!
The hatred!
The beatings!
It's over!
Disaster!

Ending:
... It's over now.

"The Bleeding" is a song by the band Five Finger Death Punch. Featuring guitarist Uros Raskovski in the intro guitar solo, it is the lead single from their debut album The Way of the Fist. A video for it was shot that shows the band performing along with cuts to a couple (Ivan L. Moody and actress Danielle Harris) suffering a breakdown of their relationship, while in some scenes it shows Ivan and Danielle having sex. Also, it is implied that when they broke up, Danielle committed suicide and Ivan had her ashes and was crying because he did love her, despite the fights. The single peaked at #9 on the Mainstream Rock Charts.
