Two bands are using the name 'Speech Patterns':
1) Speech Patterns is a punk rock band from Australia, formed in 2012.
With influences such as Lungs, Propagandhi and A Wilhelm Scream, Speech Patterns have produced a sound that is sure to leave you picking up your jaw by the end of an intense, melodic and excitable live show.
Following their independently released self-titled 7” vinyl in 2014 Speech Patterns Played shows relentlessly with local and international bands such as Luca Brasi, Title Fight, Propogahndi, A Wilhelm Scream, The Smith Street Band and The Menzingers.
After slowing down in late 2015 with an indefinite hiatus, Speech Patterns have returned with a fresh lineup that has once again sparked their passion to play for their own blend of fast melodic punk. Following the release of CROSSWATER in May, 2017 is turning into a big year for the four Tasmanians with a full-length record in the works as well as a return to touring.
2) Speech Patterns is a post-hardcore/alternative trio (Eric Suarez - vocals, Brandon Sandoval - Bass and Daniel Potenza - drums) formed in 2016 in Jacksonville, FL, USA. Their debut EP "WIthout a Sound" was released on August 18, 2017.
