Chase Icon

Chase Icon is an independent artist (under own label Fame Hooker Records). She got her start on Twitter, doing comedic narrations over videos such as Kylie Jenners house tour. After gaining popularity she released her first official single on streaming, SRS, an abbreviation for sexual reassignment surgery. In her words the song was "turning something like bottom dysmorphia into a fun, pop song". This song got a lot of traction, and gained her a lot of attention in the hyperpop community, gaining her the opportunity to perform with other artists like Slayyyter, That Kid, and Alice Longyu Gao. Her debut success was shortly followed by I'm Perfect, also gaining popularity and remaining one of her most well known songs to this day, After a collaboration NEMESIS, with hyperpop icon BABYNYMPH, Chase released the lead single to her EP, Life Alert, on June 16th, 2021. On September first, Chase released said EP, Domination. Domination spawned a hit from the title track, gaining almost 300,000 streams to date. Just 3 months later, on December 8th, 2021, she released 808, the first single of her new era, and Shoes, which was not put on streaming services. She followed 808 with "Like Me" and "Call Your Mom" with similar themes and cover art, as well as a collaboration (ZIP with Rakky Ripper) to date.
