The Eraser
electronic alternative experimental indie radiohead

analog and synthetic, deceivingly simple, precise, layered, interesting timing. obviously a studio album but with enough depth to be listened to over and over again also, this is the ending soundtrack of Christopher Nolan's excellent movie "The Prestige".

Thomas Edward Yorke (born 7 October, 1968 in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England) is best known as the lead singer of the English alternative rock band Radiohead. He has released two solo albums, "The Eraser" (2006) and "Tomorrow's Modern Boxes" (2014) and is also the frontman for the supergroup Atoms for Peace. He mainly plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar and piano, but has also played drums and bass guitar (notably during the Kid A and Amnesiac Radiohead sessions). Show more ...

Analyse - Thom Yorke

A self-fulfilling prophecy of endless possibility
In rolling reams across a screen
In algebra, in algebra

The fences that you cannot climb
The sentences that do not rhyme
In all that you can ever change
The one you're looking for

It gets you down
It gets you down

There's no spark
No light in the dark

It gets you down
It gets you down
You traveled far
What have you found
That there's no time
There's no time
To analyse
To think things through
To make sense

Like candles in the city, they never looked so pretty
By powercuts and blackouts
Sleeping like babies

It gets you down
It gets you down
You're just playing a part
You're just playing a part

You're playing a part
Playing a part
And there's no time
There's no time
To analyse
