Jane's Addiction was an influential alternative rock band from Los Angeles formed in 1986. The band's name refers to Jane Bainter, a now ex-heroin addict, who was a housemate of the band. The band dissolved in the early 1990s, and returned in the early 2000s, before breaking up yet again. The band was influenced by punk, gothic rock, metal, funk, hard rock, and psychedelic styles; lead singer Perry Farrell once described the band as a cross between Duke Ellington and Bad Brains. But then again he was also high quite a lot. Show more ...

Mountain Song - Jane's Addiction

Comin' down the mountain
One of many children
Everybody has
Their own opinion
Everybody has
Their own opinion
Holding it back
Hurts so bad
Jumping out of my flesh
And I said - Cash in!

Cash in now Honey
Cash in now
Cash in now Baby
Cash in now Honey
Cash in Miss Smith
Cash in now Baby
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh

I was comin' down the mountain
Met a child she had pin eyes
We had the same Opinion
Had the same Opinion
She was holding it back
It hurts do bad
Jumping out of my flesh
And I said - Yo! You better Cash In!

Cash in now Honey
Cash in now
Cash in now Baby
Cash in now Honey
Cash in Miss Smith
Cash in now Baby
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh!

Oooh Oooh Wow Wow Oh Yeah! x4
