Since their inception in early 2008, Gold Coast, Queensland pop punks Skyway have fast forged an impressive name for themselves. The band released their debut full length, Finders Keepers, in 2011. The release was mixed by Steve Evetts (The Wonder Years, Story Of The Year, Saves The Day) and featuring guest performances by Winston McCall of Parkway Drive, Cam Baines of Bodyjar and Scott E. Woods of One Dollar Short. In late July 2011, they released the video for the album's debut single, "Birthdays (Are For Sluts and Losers)" and Finders Keepers was released in Australia on August 12th via Takedown Records.

They announced they would be going on hiatus in September 2012. They played a farewell tour shortly afterwards.

They came back together in 2013 to play a show with All Time Low in Brisbane and play A Softcore Gathering in Sydney, though it was eventually cancelled. After 2013, there has been no news from the group.
